Using Kicking Tables

SPECIAL TEAMS:

Each team has three matching kicking tables: kick-off, punt, and field- goal. The player who is kicking rolls three dice. Use the combined dice total to read the result from the appropriate kicking table. The results on the tables include the kick return. Higher dice rolls are better for the kicking team. There are no fake kicks.

For simplicity the kick tables use the current line-of-scrimmage (LOS) for all distances.
  • The KO table provides the location of the receiving team's new LOS.
  • The punt table provides the distance from the kicking team's LOS to the receiving team's new LOS.
  • The FG table uses the kicking team's current LOS to determine if the kick was good.
